Adrienn, WHNP-BC
I’m So Glad You’re Here!
I’m excited to provide you with all kinds of information and a place to ask questions. Here’s a little bit about me.
01 — What the heck is WNHP?
WHNP stands for Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner (BC just means board certified, aka I passed my licensing exam). Women’s Health Nurse Practitioners are nurses who get a masters degree specializing in women’s health and men’s health below the belt (aka sexual health, fertility, and function/dysfunction).
02 — Where did I go to School?
I went to undergrad at Truman State University (Go Bulldogs!) and got my Nursing degree. I went to grad school at Vanderbilt University in Nashville (amazing education. . . and the best mac and cheese I have ever had in my life thanks to Peg Leg Porker).
03 — What is my experience?
My first job as a nurse practitioner was in a Fertility and IVF center. I completed lots of patient testing, completed inseminations, and assisted in IVF procedures. Next I worked for Planned Parenthood. This gave me experience in family planning, IUDs and birth control, STI testing and treatment, and so much more. Now I work at a gynecology clinic where I see patients for a variety of concerns, including: PCOS, endometriosis, birth control, colposcopy, pessary, menopause, and so much more!
04 — What else?
I am a mom of two very busy kids. I am constantly lint-rolling dog hair due to my sweet doggo Josie. Coffee brings me to baseline human functioning, and I like many people, have too many coffee mugs.

What Am I Passionate About?
Women’s health and sexual health are still a taboo topics, but they shouldn’t be. With this website and my other social media, my goal is to make these topics less awkward, more easy to talk about, and to empower individuals to know their body, their options, and how to advocate for what they need.
My Favorite Things To Yap About
Birth Control
Vaginal Health
Perimenopause/Menopause
Postpartum
